“Faith in the Heart of the City” Series featuring Chief Koval
June 27, 2017

How does faith inform the work of our civic, academic, and marketplace leaders? What faith-inspired lessons have our key leaders learned throughout their lives and how do they play out in the everyday demands of public engagement? Join us for our new Upper House series entitled, Faith in the Heart of the City.
Our second guest, Chief Mike Koval, has been the Madison Chief of Police since April 2014, and who first began his career with the Madison Police Department in 1983. Within the Police Department, he has a decorated career in a variety of roles: police officer, field training officer, field training supervisor, SWAT hostage negotiator, critical response team supervisor, primary legal instructor, and sergeant.
Our event was moderated by Phil Haslanger, pastor of Memorial United Church of Christ and former city editor, editorial page editor, and managing editor at The Capital Times.
