Kickoff the summer with a night of music and story featuring Madison area songwriters. The artists on our 2019 summer stage include: Travis Agnew, Micah Behr, Hannah Busse, and Kyle Ebley. In front of an intimate audience, they will perform song selections, tell stories about life in the music industry, the challenge of writing lyrics, the pleasure of playing with other musicians, and the ups and downs of their career.

Light appetizers and coffee will be provided.

About our artists:

Travis Agnew is a Madison native, has lived all over the United States and has traveled the globe gathering a flood of experiences. His styles range from alt country, folk, rock, indie, blues and reggae. Travis writes gritty songs with passion and energy that wrestle with brokenness, love and forgiveness.

Micah Behr composes, performs, and teaches music in Madison, Wisconsin. He serves as the Music Director at Geneva Campus Church. His EP of hymns, Nobler Powers, was released in 2019.

Hannah Busse is a folk-pop singer-songwriter, recording artist, worship director, wife, and mom. Named the Madison Area Music Association’s 2018 New Artist of the Year, Hannah’s repute as a songwriter and performer is on the rise. Ranging from driving to quirky to reflective, her songs hold common threads of honest lyrics and captivating melodies driven from her piano.

Kyle Ebley started playing the piano at 5, and thanks to supremely patient parenting, music took hold and has been a focal point of his life ever since. He picked up the guitar in high school, and loves experimenting with other instruments as well. Ultimately he enjoys writing and playing, but more than anything he loves making music with good friends as often as he can.
