Badger Cru, Blackhawk CAM, and The Navigators—in partnership with Upper House—invite all the appointed leaders of campus ministries serving at the University of Wisconsin to take the next step in strengthening their spiritual leadership.

Our one-day leadership development conference will feature veteran leader and pastor emeritus Chris Dolson, who will focus on what it means to lead yourself and others well in a turbulent world. How do we model and share the deep love of Jesus with our friends and students on campus? How do we counter negative narratives about Christianity in our deeply divided culture?

Leaders—join us for a day of equipping, encouragement, and inspiration! Glean wisdom. Worship with the Heartland Church /Sun Prairie worship team. Enjoy good food and fortifying content, and go forth to lead more effectively.

Speaker

Chris Dolson

Chris Dolson began his ministry at Blackhawk church in July 1994. After retiring from the role of Senior Pastor in June 2021, he began his role as Pastor Emeritus in January 2022. Prior to Blackhawk, he pastored a church in Shreveport, LA for 10 years.

Originally from Indiana, Chris has a BS from Indiana State University, where he majored in Biology and competed as a gymnast. During college, he discovered God’s grace and went on to receive his Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and his Doctorate of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Seminary under Haddon Robinson.

Chris and his wife, Becky, have two grown children, Daniel and Melissa (married to Josh). In his spare time, Chris enjoys rooting for the Cubs and never gives up hope that this might be the year again.
