Singer-Songwriter Concert at Dottie’s Ranch

Enjoy a beautiful evening at Dottie’s Ranch with two of your favorite local singer-songwriters, Travis Agnew and Betsy Ezell. In front of an intimate audience, they will perform songs and tell stories about life in the music industry, the challenge of writing lyrics, the pleasure of playing with other musicians, and the ups and downs of their careers.

Bring your lawn chair. Dessert will be provided at intermission.

The rain location is the same day and time but at Upper House instead of Dottie’s Ranch.

This is an adult-only event!

Musicians

Betsy Ezell

She is a local jazz singer and composer. Ezell began composing music in 2014. Betsy studied jazz under Gabriel Espinosa at Central College, while getting a degree in English. Another side of her creative expression is worship leading at churches and conferences. Betsy Ezell has performed at Cafe CODA, Crescendo, for the DreamBank Summer Music Series, the Memorial Union Terrace’s Behind the Beat jazz series, Strollin’ Middleton, Jazz at Five, was a guest artist at Central College. She was nominated in Madison Magazine’s 2019 Best of Madison poll in the “Local Band or Singer — Jazz” category.

Travis Agnew

Madison native Travis Agnew has lived all over the United States and has traveled the globe gathering a flood of experiences. From the sun and surf of Florida to the mountainous landscape of Colorado, his music is as diverse as his travels. His styles range from alt. country, folk, rock, indie, blues, and reggae. Travis writes gritty songs with passion and energy that wrestle with brokenness, love, and forgiveness. He is engaging audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
