Live a life worthy of the calling (vocation) you have received. (Eph. 4:1)
Do you desire a deeper connection between your faith and work? Do you long to connect the implications of Sunday to the demands of Monday? Do you seek a deeper understanding of business as a sacred calling and force for good?
The Companies of Courage Learning Cohort will gather four times this winter to learn from leaders and companies who have incorporated Christian faith into the purposes and practices of their business leadership. Diverse leaders, readings, and organizations will be featured, including—
- Dan Luck, President of Bella Domicile (Madison, WI)
- Barnhart Crane & Rigging (Memphis, TN)
- Dave Hataj, President of Edgerton Gear (Edgerton, WI)
- Amahoro Ava Hejuru Cooperative (Kigali, Rwanda)
Attendees seeking inspiration, new vision for their work, and a more integrated theological framework for business and relationships with all key stakeholders (e.g., customers, suppliers, employees, community, environment), will find meaningful content in this learning experience. They will also extend their network with other marketplace leaders.
Who is the Cohort for?
This cohort is for business leaders and those who work alongside and/or equip business leaders, such as non-profit or ministry leaders. Graduate students in business (and related disciplines) are also welcome, as are others interested in Christian leadership and/or a theology of business.
Frequency and Duration
The Cohort will meet via Zoom for four consecutive Thursday mornings from 7:45-9:00 AM (February 18, 25, and March 4, 11, 2021).
Cohort Capacity
20 people
