EVENT DESCRIPTION

How are young Christians sustaining their faith and cultivating resilience in a world dominated by devices that entertain, inform, and endlessly distract? A digital Babylon offers constant temptation. Are you concerned for the spiritual well-being of young Christians negotiating today’s challenges?

Wisconsin pastors, youth pastors, and campus ministry/pastoral staff can join a live webinar with Mark Matlock, co-author of the research-based Faith for Exiles: Five Ways for a New Generation to Follow Jesus in Digital Babylon (2019). Beyond sharing findings of a three-year Barna Group study, Mark will reveal how young Christians are pursuing discipleship in our turbulent, exilic context.

This webinar will help attendees—

  • Make sense of chaotic cultural changes and respond with compassion to the next generation of believers
  • Recognize the biblical concept of exile as an essential framework for following Christ today
  • Discover five research-based practices that cultivate faithfulness in digital Babylon
  • Prepare young Christians to be on mission with Jesus in the world
  • Empower Jesus followers of all ages to thrive in our current exile

The first 75 ministry staff who register for the webinar will receive a FREE copy of Mark Matlock’s book, Faith for Exiles: Five Ways for a New Generation to Follow Jesus in Digital Babylon.
